Skyddsplanering

Skyddsplanering is a digital platform for protective security planning and personnel vetting under the Swedish Protective Security Act. It guides organizations through the full chain - activity analysis, security analysis, protection plan, security instructions, and the annual control plan - and keeps vetting organized by position and security class. The platform tracks process, status, dates, and responsibility, and never stores classified information, interview notes, or personal ID numbers. The platform is built to the requirements of FMV, the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration.

Why our team built this

Protective security work is a legal obligation for government agencies, municipalities, and private companies conducting security-sensitive activities, as well as for suppliers bound by security protection agreements. Yet most organizations still manage it in scattered documents and spreadsheets, which makes it hard to prove that analyses are current, that everyone involved has been vetted, and that the security protection officer has real oversight.

We built Skyddsplanering to make that work structured and auditable without touching sensitive content. Analyses are reviewed on schedule, vetting is continuous rather than ad hoc, and frozen snapshots document exactly what was submitted - so an inspection becomes a matter of showing the record instead of reconstructing it.

The platform is developed according to the requirements set by FMV, the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration. That means the structure, terminology, and documentation follow what an authority in the defence sector actually expects to see - not a generic compliance checklist - which is what makes the output usable in a real supervisory context.
